LO1- Diego kuffer analysis

Diego Kuffer

He has created 4 different presentations, with the earliest coming out in 2010 and his latest in 2013.

His latest project was based around the idea of memories he would put together several photos because it would make a piece that was broken up and imperfect. this is because of how memories are pure and are often fractured and in pieces.

He majored in business and post graduated in psychoanalytic - semiotic then worked for ten years with marketing before becoming a photographer in 2010.

He is a Brazilian photographer

Today I will be analysing one of his photos.
Genre
The genre of this photo is cubism which is the process of taking photos of the same thing at different angles and then cutting out and layering the photos over one another to create a very unique photograph.
Image analysis
In this photograph we can see the use of a few photographic elements one such being leading lines this is where the photographer will use artificial lines in the environment to use as a way of drawing a readers attention to something within the photo, creating a point of interest.
Purpose
The purpose of this photo could be too promote a certain part of the city such as the metro system  or it could be just that diego found this location particularly interesting to photograph.
Meaning
A possible meaning in this photo could be corrupted lives being that people are more interested in boring and pointless aspects of there life. In my opinion I like Diego's work as he creates some very creative pieces.
